City Run & Fun Walks

5K/10K Runs & Fun Walks

Registrations for the City Fun walk/runs series please log into your HRintouch portal to register for the runs. Sign up for all the runs at one time or sign up for a specific month. Registrations are due by Monday, the week of run by noon.

Family (not on health plan) & Friends wishing to participate may do so by contacting the City of Yuma Parks & Recreation (928) 373-5200 for registration and payment information.

Welcome to the "Fitness Challenge"

Join us on our Kickoff event, this will be an opportunity to turn in your registration (participants) or get your measurements to join (competitors). Meet the personal trainers that will be available for the next 8 weeks, meet the Chef’s that are offering you a discount to get your healthy meals prepared for you during the next 8 weeks, meet your competition!

Join us at the Kick Off Event: Personal trainers available, Delicious food samples, get a taste of what this challenge has to offer!

One challenge, two ways to join! Good to be… the outcome is yours to choose, Do you want to lose weight? Register as a competitor! Are you interested in non-scale victories, register as a participant.

The purpose of the Fitness Challenge is to promote, encourage and support participants in establishing and maintaining a healthy weight-loss and exercise program that demonstrates a healthy and active lifestyle.

Participation is voluntary; anyone who would like to reach or maintain a healthy weight is encouraged to participate. Only employee’s that are covered under the Yuma County Employee Benefit Trust (YCEBT) medical plan are eligible to participate. * This challenge is only for employees -dependents are not eligible to participate at this time.

How & When:
Kick off Event: Monday, September 16. 2019 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Smuckers Park
Initial Measurement: Friday, September 13, 2019 7:30 am to 10:00 am BOS Auditorium and from1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Main Library
Final Measurement: Friday, November 8, 2019 7:30 am to 10:00 am BOS Auditorium and from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm Main Library
Incentive Giveaway: Friday, November 15, 2019 10:00 am to 2:00 pm BOS Auditorium and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Main Library
