The Employee Relations department develops positive ongoing connections between the County and its employees by focusing on both individual and collective relationships in the workplace with an increasing emphasis on building a strong organizational culture and healthy work environment. We prioritize employee recognition and appreciation while promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to create a respectful and supportive environment that truly enables all employees to participate, thrive, and be heard. We help interpret and utilize County Personnel Rules, Standards of Conduct, federal and state statutes and ever-changing employment law to ensure the County’s compliance with rules and regulations.
