The HIV Prevention Program is located within the Yuma County Public Health Services District, Nursing Division. The Program consists of two staff members.

Partner Services are designated to confidentially identify HIV positive individuals, notify partners of their possible exposure and provide infected persons and their partners with a range of medical, prevention and psychosocial services.
The HIV Prevention Program tracks the number of individuals infected with HIV in order to watch the trends of the epidemic. This information is used to target prevention activities and referral to/for HIV Care and Support Services.
