Mission:
Prevent unintentional injuries to youth and adolescents.
Location:
2200 W. 28th Street, Yuma, AZ. 85364
Hours of Operation:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday (except legal holidays)
Classes and Events at various times and days during the year.
Volunteers:
Volunteers are needed in many areas of injury prevention as well as in the office. Please call for details.
Fees:
None for Education and events; Bike Helmets are sold at a discount (no qualifying).
Program Activities:
Safe Kids Yuma County - The Health District is the lead agency for the Safe Kids Yuma County and provides the physical location and infrastructure for the organization. To learn more or become involved please visit the Safe Kids Yuma County Facebook page.
K.I.S.S. Program: (Kids In Safety Seats) - This program provides training on property use and installation on infant-only, convertible (rear/front facing), and booster (high-back and no-back) seats. We are currently taking registration for online instruction only. For details please see Project K.I.S.S. flier below or call (928) 317-4580.
