Upcoming two-week schedule:

The contractor mobilized equipment on Monday, June 4, 2026.

Excavation of the stormwater retention basin and installation of concrete storm drainpipes will continue throughout the week. Work will also continue in the Jesse Street area, including excavation and installation of the 30-inch storm drain and relocation of the existing water line.

Another crew will continue installation of the 18-inch storm drain along Oakland Avenue and Dome Street. They will begin constructing catch basins, including a crossing to connect to an additional catch basin on Dome Street south of Oakland Avenue.

A separate crew will continue excavating the Helen basin.

Road Closures:

A hard closure will remain in place on Jesse Street, with detours available via Bobby Street and Fresno Street. Drivers are encouraged to follow all temporary traffic control signs.

General Description:

The proposed work is located in Wellton, Arizona. The work consists of but is not limited to: Installing Maybelle Street storm drain and Maybelle retention basin, Helen Street storm drain and Helen retention basin, Central Wellton storm drain and retention basin, plus Oakland Avenue storm drain.
