Dennis Paul Booth 

It has been an honor to serve the citizens of Yuma County on the Arizona Western College District Governing Board. I believe education is the foundation of strong communities, a skilled workforce, and lasting economic growth. Throughout my service, I have remained committed to ensuring Arizona Western College provides affordable, high-quality education, workforce training, and opportunities that prepare students for success.

As the founder of Booth Machinery, Inc., I have worked closely with the agricultural community, a driving force in Yuma County's economy. I understand the need for a highly skilled workforce and support programs in agriculture technology, diesel technology, irrigation, logistics, healthcare, skilled trades, and other high-demand fields that strengthen our region.

My commitment to Arizona Western College extends beyond Board service through my work with the AWC Foundation Board, presidential search committees, the Matador Athletic Association, and other community organizations.

As Board Chair, I have focused on fiscal responsibility, strategic planning, student success, and community partnerships. I respectfully ask for your support and your vote so we can continue expanding educational opportunities and ensuring Arizona Western College remains a source of pride and opportunity for Yuma and La Paz counties.

Jane Ann Fisher 

As a proud graduate and 21-year employee of Arizona Western College, I am honored to seek election to the Arizona Western College District Governing Board. My long connection to the college confirms for me the important role AWC plays in strengthening our communities, preparing our workforce, and creating opportunities for students and families.

I began my career as an adjunct faculty member and part-time employee. Today, I serve as Coordinator of Physical and Wellness Education. Throughout my career, I have worked hard to ensure student success both inside and outside the classroom. 

I have proudly supported our student-athletes through the Matador Association, served on the Arizona Western College Foundation, and established a scholarship fund to help students overcome financial barriers. In 2024, I was honored to be named Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year. 

I have worked alongside five college presidents, and I understand the importance of strong leadership, educational excellence, and responsible stewardship of public resources. 

If elected, I will work to ensure Arizona Western College remains a trusted community partner by maintaining high academic standards, supporting workforce development, strengthening community partnerships, and making fiscally responsible decisions that benefit students, taxpayers, and our region.
