What Is a Project Assessment Meeting?
A Project Assessment Meeting is an optional, early-stage review of a proposed development. It allows County staff and partner agencies to review your project and provide feedback on applicable regulations before you submit formal permit applications.
This process helps identify requirements prior to submitting permit applications reducing delays, redesigns, and unexpected costs later in the permitting process.
What You will Receive?
During a Project Assessment Meeting, County staff will review the application and site plan you submit to provide:
- Identification of required permits and approvals
- Preliminary zoning and development feedback
- Known site or regulatory constraints
- Required County and agency reviews
- Guidance on what is needed for a complete permit submittal
This information is intended to help prepare a more complete and compliant permit application submittal
How to Request a Project Assessment

- A completed Project Assessment Application
- A site plan showing property boundaries, existing conditions, and proposed development
