Yuma County Department of Development Services is pleased to provide the Commercial Permit Guide to assist applicants through the permitting process.  A commercial building permit is required for non-residential construction including new construction, remodels, additions, tenant improvements and change-of-use.

Commercial Permits are also required for residential construction involving multi-family projects of three or more units, condominiums, apartment buildings, and Mobile Home and RV parks.  Complete and accurate submittals and compliance with the most current codes, regulations, and ordinances throughout the permitting process leads to fewer delays and revisions
