Educate citizens and all businesses to assist Yuma County in performing the Storm Water Pollution Prevention plan. This plan encompasses the need to maintain the water quality standards that are required by state and federal laws. This plan can be carried out by educating the citizens of Yuma County by ensuring that household hazardous wastes are disposed of properly, use of pesticides and fertilizers are used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Undertaking these small steps helps to protect our surface and ground water quality.
