The Environmental Programs Division is headed by the Environmental Programs Manager. The divisional staff is responsible for carrying out the duties and functions of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality through delegated authority. These duties include aquifer protection, solid waste management, stormwater management and air (dust) complaints. The Environmental Programs Division provides essential environmental services seeking to prevent and remove environmental health risks and educate Yuma County residents.

Staff is comprised of two Registered Sanitarians and one Environmental Compliance Inspector.
