Home MenuJAU Payment Contracts
The JAU establishes monthly payment contracts for persons who are ordered to pay fines, fees, or restitution.
The court will direct you to contact JAU. You must be referred to JAU by a court to establish a payment contract.
A time payment fee of twenty dollars ($20) will be assessed on every case that is not paid in full on the day of sentencing, as required by A.R.S. § 12-116.
Payment plans are monitored to determine compliance with payment due dates and amounts.
Do not ignore your responsibility to pay, as this may result in additional penalties and costs. Your case may also be referred to a collections agency if you fail to abide by the payment contract terms. For more information, contact the JAU.
Payments are applied to cases in accordance with Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA) § 3-401: Priority of Offender Payments in Superior Court and ACJA § 4-301 Priority of Offender Payments in Limited Jurisdiction Court.
