Darci Weede has resided in Yuma with her family for more than 17 years. Darci graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Justice Studies. She received her law degree from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York.
Darci served as a full-time Judge Pro Tem in the Yuma County Justice Court Precinct One from July 2019 through October 2022. As full-time Judge Pro Tem, she presided over all misdemeanor criminal maters, including bench and jury trials and all motions filed. She handled felony initial appearances, order of protection hearings and civil matters.
Prior to that position, Darci practiced law for 21 years, as an attorney she appeared in more than 5,000 civil and criminal cases. Darci served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office Protective Services and Child Support Enforcement Sections. Additionally, Darci served as Criminal Deputy County Attorney for the Yuma County Attorney’s Office and was a private attorney at the law firm of Mary K. Boyte.
Darci’s service to her community is not limited to the courtroom. She has previously served on the State Bar’s Family Law Executive Council and is currently on the Advisory Committee on the Rules of Evidence. She and her family are involved in the Yuma Optimist Club, Girl Scouts, Yuma 4-H and youth sports
