County Supervisors Association Announces Yuma County Supervisor Russell McCloud as President; Elects Executive Committee Officials
The County Supervisors Association (CSA) Board of Directors has elected the six Executive Committee Officials to lead the organization in 2019. Yuma County Supervisor Russell McCloud was unanimously elected by his colleagues as the President of CSA.

Yuma County is pleased to announce a new Vote Center Locator application. This joint effort between the Yuma County Recorder, Elections and Information Technology Services allows registered voters to find, and get directions to, the nearest Vote Center no matter where they are in Yuma County.

The Yuma County Public Health District is asking residents and visitors who are pregnant, or those trying to become pregnant, to take precautions to protect themselves from mosquitoes when traveling to Zika-affected areas. This comes after a report from the State of Sonora, Mexico.

UPDATED: IPAWS National Test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) POSTPONED until October 3rd
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) on OCTOBER 3, 2018.

The 2018-2019 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine will be available at the Health District, 2200 W. 28th Street, Yuma starting Tuesday, September 4th, 2018. Seasonal flu vaccinations are available for all individuals 6 months of age and older.

Beginning in 2018 election cycle all Yuma County residents will be casting ballots into new ballot equipment on Election Day. The Yuma County Elections Office will hold an Election Equipment Open House, 9 am – 5 pm, August 1 – 10 at their Historic Downtown Yuma location, 197 S. Main Street.
