AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN
State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund

The U.S. Treasury provided $41,525,619 to Yuma County under the State Local Fiscal Recovery Fund Program to assist communities as they recover from the pandemic.  The funding provides communities with flexibility to meet the local needs.  Recipients can use the funds to:

  • Support public health expenditures;
  • Address negative economic impacts caused by the public heath emergency;
  • Aid the communities and populations hardest hit by the pandemic;
  • Provide premium pay for essential workers;
  • Invest in water, sewer, and broadband infrastructure

At the Board of Supervisors September 20, 2021 meeting, the following projects were approved for funding:
