Yuma 77 temporarily unavailable during relocation

Post Date:04/03/2026 3:00 PM

Yuma County’s government cable television channel, Yuma 77, will be temporarily unavailable to Spectrum TV customers while equipment is relocated to a new broadcast site.

Contractors are moving Yuma 77 equipment to its new home in Yuma County Administration Services, 197 S. Main St. in Yuma. Following that, Spectrum must connect the equipment to its network and perform testing and signal adjustments before the channel can return to service.

The television outage could extend several weeks.

Residents who want to watch the Supervisors’ April 6 meeting live can do so on the Yuma County Government Facebook page beginning at 9 a.m. A replay will be posted later that day on the Video on Demand section of the Yuma County website and run in regular rotation on Yuma 77 once the channel is restored.

“We thank our residents for their patience with us during this moving process,” said Yuma County Administrative Communications Director Dave Nash. “Yuma 77 has specialized equipment that requires a precise level of expertise from two separate parties to move, both to make sure the channel is reconnected properly and for it to function effectively with the facilities at the new location. We have that coordinated now, and it will be just a little bit longer before the live stream is up and running.”
