As part of a broader effort to maximize efficiencies without taking on new personnel, Robyn Stallworth Pouquette has been reclassified into the new position of Assistant County Administrator, effective immediately.
While serving in her previous role as Enterprise Risk Administrative Director, Pouquette has shared oversight of several departments and divisions alongside the County Administrator and Deputy County Administrator over the past year. The Housing and Public Fiduciary departments along with Community Planning, Communications, Risk Management and Election Services now report directly to Pouquette. Her new position formally consolidates these responsibilities, strengthening coordinated leadership and operational alignment across the organization.
“Robyn was selected based on her strong performance and demonstrated ability to take on additional responsibilities,” said County Administrator Ian McGaughey. “The reclassification consolidates duties she has already been carrying and allows the County to expand support without adding new staff.”
Pouquette has been with Yuma County for 28 years in various roles, including with the Sheriff’s Office, the Courts, Human Resources and Risk Management, as well as serving as the elected County Recorder.
“Robyn’s depth of experience and knowledge of our organization make her exceptionally well suited for this new leadership role,” said County Administrator Ian McGaughey. “She is a tremendous asset to our team, and I am excited to see what she will accomplish as Assistant County Administrator.”
