Yuma County Reminds Voters of Special General Election September 23

YUMA COUNTY, AZ –Yuma County reminds eligible voters about the upcoming Special General Election for Congressional District 7 (CD 7), scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2025. To ensure a smooth voting experience, Yuma County encourages voters to familiarize themselves with important dates and voting locations ahead of time.
On Election Day, six vote centers will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters may choose to vote at any of these locations.
Vote Center locations:
- Martin Luther King Jr. Youth Career Center – 300 S. 13th Avenue, Yuma
- Yuma Main Library – 2951 S. 21st Drive, Yuma
- Arizona Western College – Schoening Conference Center – 2020 S. Avenue 8E, Yuma
- Somerton Community Center – 805 W. Main Street, Somerton
- San Luis Library – 1075 N. 6th Avenue, San Luis
- Cesar Chavez Cultural Center – 1015 N. Main Street, San Luis
Early voting for those who wish to cast their ballot in person concludes 7 p.m. Friday, September 19, at the Yuma County Recorder’s Office, 102 S. Main St. in Yuma. Emergency voting, for those unable to have voted early but who will not be able to vote on election day, will take place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, September 20 through Monday, September 22, also at the Yuma County Recorder’s Office.
For voters who prefer to drop off completed ballots received by mail, Yuma County provides 24-hour drop boxes at multiple locations throughout the county. Ballot drop boxes will remain open until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23.
