The Yuma County Public Health District will offer H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines during the month of February from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday in room # 256 (Nursing Division) located at 2200 W. 28th Street in Yuma. All clinics are open to persons of all ages with a physical address in Yuma County, and will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

The Yuma County Public Health Services District is recognizing National Influenza Vaccination Week (NIVW) during January 10 – 16, 2010. This week was established to highlight the importance of H1N1 and Seasonal flu vaccinations at a time when demand for vaccine usually drops. Influenza is unpredictable and can continue to infect individuals well into the Spring, but we do know that vaccination is the single best way to reduce the health impact of influenza. “It’s not too late to vaccinate”.
