About Us

The Yuma County Recorder’s Office is a department within county government that accepts documents to be recorded, creates public records from recorded documents, and gives access for viewing recorded documents to the public. The Recorder’s staff works closely with various local businesses that handle a high volume of property documents for recordation as well as all citizens of Yuma County to provide the service of official recording for public records. In addition, the Yuma County Recorder’s Office maintains the voter registration records for Yuma County and conducts early voting for city, county, state, and national elections as well as various districts and school boards. The department works year-round to ensure that all voter registration records are maintained up-to-date and works closely with the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office to ensure that records are of the highest integrity. The Recorder and staff work tirelessly with the Yuma County Elections Department to conduct elections throughout each year and provide voters the opportunity to cast their votes through early balloting.
