Mission Statement To create public records, maintain said records to archival standards, and provide convenient access to these records for public viewing. Also, to provide residents access to the electoral process through the maintenance of a voter registration system and an early voting process.
Risk Management efforts save $$$, lead to awards
Yuma County was recently honored during the 2016 Public Risk Management Association’s (PRIMA) Annual Convention in Atlanta. Yuma County won PRIMA’s Outstanding Achievement for a Public Risk Management Program Award for utilizing the international standard on risk management (ISO 31000) to develop an enterprise risk management program. An Honorable Mention was also awarded for the County’s pain free manual therapy program.

County to receive GOLD from the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program
Yuma County Human Resources and Public Health District has been invited to the Healthy Arizona Worksites Annual Event where they will receive the organization’s highest honor - the “Gold Award Level.” Last year, Yuma County was the first government agency to receive any of the 3 awards when they were given the Silver Award Level. The event will take place Thursday, June 23, in Phoenix.

County Recorder now offers EARLY BALLOT request ONLINE
The Yuma County Recorder announced today it is now easier than ever to cast your ballot in Yuma County. Any registered voter can request an Early Ballot by visiting the county's website by navigating to the EARLY BALLOT REQUEST webpage. This new service is easier than mailing in a request and can be done from any PC or Mobile Device with internet access.
