Health and Safety

Environment, Health & Safety Officers & Managers are responsible for formulating and enforcing related polices in line with prevalent environmental, health and safety laws and regulations. They are also responsible for creating awareness among employees on the issues of environment, health and safety.


Attention to safety is important to the health of the County's employees and in reducing the effect of loss on the County's monetary assets. There are many tools that the County uses to increase safety awareness among its employees. They include safety training, newsletters, inspections and loss reporting.


Yuma County will provide a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
