Planning and Zoning Commission meets at 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month and as needed. They make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors concerning rezonings, special uses, major and minor amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Commission Initiatives.
Board of Adjustment meets at 1:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month. This board is responsible for hearing variance cases.
Flood Control Advisory Board meets on the first Thursday of each quarter at 9:00 a.m. or as needed. They act in an advisory role to the Board of Directors on matters pertaining to flood control drainage, floodplain regulations, water conservation and related matters.
Building Code Advisory Board meets on the second Thursday of each quarter at 3:00 p.m. or as needed. This Board determines the suitability of alternate materials and methods of construction, and provides reasonable interpretations of the building code.
Fire Code Board of Appeals meets on the third Wednesday of each quarter at 3:00 p.m. or as needed. This Board determines the suitability of alternate materials and methods of construction and hears appeals of orders, decisions or interpretations made by the Fire Code Official.
