Flu Vaccine available soon! Time to plan ahead!

FLU Season

The 2017-2018 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine will be available at the Health District, 2200 W. 28th Street, Yuma starting Tuesday, September 5th, 2017. Seasonal flu vaccinations are available for all individuals 6 months of age and older. The cost is $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for individuals 18 years and younger. Medicare Part B, AHCCCS and Private Insurance are accepted upon presentation of card.

All of the 2017-2018 influenza vaccine is made to protect against the following three viruses:

an A/Michigan/45/2015 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus,

an A/Hong Kong/4801/2014 (H3N2)-like virus

a B/Brisbane/60/2008-like virus (B/Victoria lineage).

Quadrivalent vaccines will include the same viruses plus an additional flu B virus called B/Phuket/3073/2013-like virus (B/Yamagata lineage).
