Website Content Manager Training

  • Introduction: This training is geared toward those maintaining the website in departments. It will familiarize you with the basics, especially with the new back-end layout.
Unfortunately the class is FULL. We can only fit 20 people in the class. Please contact Kevin Tunell at (928) 373-1111 for further details.

This class will hold ONLY 20 people. We are asking that only ONE per agency/department attend. If there is still room on FRIDAY of this week we will reach out to specific departments requiring more content managers. PLEASE only send ONE person per department (Department/Agency Heads may want to designate their specific representative).

8:00 am – NOON              OVERVIEW of User Interface changes to the dashboard (as well as any other new items brought up)
Light BFast provided         BASICS of including: adding/building pages, adding content, etc.  News component, Photo component                                                            METADATA and why you need to use it
                                          ADDITIONAL items that come up while training

NOON – 1:00 pm              LUNCH PROVIDED - working lunch

1:00 - 5:00                         QUESTIONS & ANSWERS, which means…bring your questions about working on the backend.
                                          BE PREPARED to actually work on your pages with Vision Internet (Brian)
                                          DISCUSS condensing the LARGE amount of wording on pages
                                          Talking about changes in accessibility WE NEED TO KNOW and PRACTICE to remain compliant
